Our Mission and Vision:

John Howard Society Fraser Valley (JHSFV) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping people and their families who have become involved with or who are at risk of becoming involved with the criminal justice system. The fundamental purpose of JHSFV is to understand and respond to problems of crime and the criminal justice system through education and the provision of crime prevention programs and services, thereby creating a healthy and safe community for all.

JHSFV has been operating in the Fraser Valley for over 30 years. First as a satellite office for The John Howard Society Lower Mainland, and then as an independent agency after our incorporation in 1996.

We provide a range of services to people who have been touched by the criminal justice system, specifically incarcerated individuals and their families.
